Aapasuo was filmed in Martimo, in Finland in March 2020. The spaciousness of the open mire and the rhythm of the pines are free and captive at the same time. How the vitality increases and circulates in challenging conditions in the trunks of small, curly pines. The trees embody resilience and express a powerful force of nature, the will to live.

Aapasuo attaches to the bodily connection between trees, the open mire, and the human body.
